Today is our very own Scott's birthday!! (awwww he's holding a puppy!!)

If you have ever been to a Cheer New York event, there is a pretty good chance you've met our Scott. He is CNY's Marketing Manager and darn good at it! Take a tour of the Cheer NY newsletter section of our website to see a small glimpse of the artistic magic he brings to our organization.

Scott has given a unmeasurable amount of his time, energy and talent to the team, so why not show him our appreciation with some BIG birthday wishes.

CNY Rocks the Jocks!

Cheer New York dropped by the The 3rd Annual Jock-A-Thon (Co-sponsored by the Men Event, Out of Bounds and Team NY) Wednesday Jan 28, to rub elbows with their fellow jocks. Hundreds of GLBT athletes convened at Dave and Busters in Times Square to network, recruit and just enjoy cocktails and camaraderie. Representatives from CNY got the chance to catch up with our friends from the Gay Hockey Association, the Gotham Knights rugby team, the New York Ramblers soccer team, Gotham Volleyball, Team New York Aquatics, Metropolitan Tennis Group, the Front Runners and so many more.

Diego T., Brian W. and Scott W. made cameo appearances, on their way to Wednesday night's practice. They left alumni Teddy A. and Manny C. in charge of representing the team. They collected the numbers of more than a dozen potential recruits to CNY!

Happy Birthday Felipe!!

Today is our fearless leader's birthday!

Felipe has been a part of Cheer New York since day one and was strong, brave, and passionate enough to take over the role of director when CNY was at it's lowest. There isn't much else to say but, Look at us now!!

With a team of almost 40 members Felipe Does. It. All. From uniforms to marketing to finding a practice space with at least 20 foot high ceilings in Manhattan (close to impossible!).

It is hard to put our gratitude into words and though we may not always tell you how grateful we truly are...we love you Cheer Papi! Happy Birthday!

It is quite a birthday month for Cheer NY! This past Friday was our Marketing Manager Scott W.'s birthday (depicted above basing a shoulder sit with Will A.)

The number of things that Scott has done for CNY since he joined the team is almost unspeakable, so make sure to send him all your biggest birthday wishes.
